Drifting apart

Letting it go

She has finally decided to let her wish go. No harm letting it go.  She would just let it go. Yes, let the frustration go. Yes, let the sadness go.  Yes, let the anger go.

She sees no point in sulking and crying.  Life is short any way.  If she can't get it now, it would always be later.  If she can't have it here, she might have it in the hereafter.  Her life is solely meant for the Almighty.  She feels very much better after talking to herself and confiding in Allah. Her course hands have never been held.  Her beautiful eyes have never been looked into.  Her cheeks have never been caressed.  Her shoulders have never been wrapped around. She was never offered shoulders for her to lean on. Her feelings was unheeded.  She knows she deserves more but she dares not complain.  Her happiness does not depend on people or things. Her goal is clear...she is aiming for Jannah - to live in paradise in the here after.

Planning to Istanbul 2

I have contacted several other agents, 2 based in Malaysia and 4 based in Istanbul.  The 2 travel agents based in Malaysia could not fulfil my requirements in terms of budget and private tour.  They could only offer me sit in coach which means I have to travel with other travellers (It would be a hassle for me since I am travelling with family and need to follow strictly the tour schedule).  Meanwhile, the other 2 travel agents based in Istanbul did not even reply my request for quotation. Rice cooker cake

Thought of giving it a try soon.

Got the recipe from http://www.kidspot.com.au/best-recipes/Breakfast+1/Rice-cooker-cake-recipe+5435.htm

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (300g) self-raising flour
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) milk

Method:

Step 1. Place flour, sugar and eggs into a bowl and whisk together while adding milk at a little at a time until all ingredients are incorporated.
Step 2. Pour cake mixture into the bowl of a rice cooker and set the rice cooker to cook. If you have an automatic rice cooker, you may need to push the button down 2-3 times until your cake is cooked.
Step 3. Cook until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean or the cake has a smooth, dry surface. This should take around 20-25 minutes.
Step 4. Slice and serve with berries and ice cream or maple syrup.

You can't have all

At times when you think things are not right and you could not do anything to make it right, you feel so hopeless. The least you could do is to make it right within yourself since it is within your control.  Of course you cannot live in a fantasy imagining beautiful things happening to you to reverse the negative effects to your mind, mood and actions ... but at least it helps you regain your strength and self control.

Since the world is only temporary...total submission to Allah is very essential to embrace tranquility inside..
May Allah guide us in every step of our way. After all, we cannot have all..am accepting the fact with a smile.

Taming the heart

When abundance of love and care went by unnoticed and not exchanged the intensity will be diluted and faded over time.  What is left would only be mere respect and sympathy.  It is not hard to show you care. A couple of pat on the shoulder or a couple of rub on the head would be more than enough to signal that your presence is a joy.  But of course that simple actions would be very difficult to do when love has never taken place.

Trivial

Trivial matter... people may have said... Yeah it all starts with trivial matter... Most of the times we choose to ignore and hope the uneasy feelings would go away.  But when it recurs and continues to recur these trivial matters would accumulate and become big enough to blow your top. Every trivial things that coupes up inside becomes complicated to explain...  How do you define trivial anyway? Things that are trivial to you might not viewed the same by others...

When you regard something or some one to be important in your life you would want to be able to see or hold it/her  whenever you have the chance.  You would want her to be counted in every little thing of your life.  When you start to exclude her in situation that is or was once important in your life, she would get the signal and a gap starts to develop in between. Every trivial matter you created would make the gap wider.  Even if she tries so much to close the gap by doing things she would like you to do to her the gap won't disappear unless the effort is mutual.  Her repetitive frustrations will make her stop from trying to close the gap.  She will cease all efforts.  She would give in and create her own new circle of happiness. Over time her feelings will just turn numb...

Hope it won't be too late for any one to realise that he / she should take trivial matter seriously.... especially when it involves some one he /she thinks important in his/her life.

Thank you for the friendship

The space

Wonder if the space exists right from the start.  Probably it was only an assumption that the space is created. The hustle and bustle of life seemed to have portrayed an illusion that the space has ever been allocated. Now as time passes the space looks invisible.  The space has gone and a huge gap has replaced the space. The huge gap seems to grow larger although the players choose to ignore.

Mercy ya Allah...

The land of the long white clouds

I am truly blessed Alhamdulillah.  Flying to Auckland with my loved ones on business class made me thank Allah incessantly. Viewing the magnificent scenery before my eyes really made me feel so small as a servant of the All Mighty.
Here are some of the pictures.
